T-Shirts: All 5th Grade Shirts have been delivered. We love seeing the kids wear them!

Painting of Commemorative Rocks: Your 5th grader's rocks are now on display in the Friendship Garden. They look great!

5th Grade Promotion Picnic at Canyonside Park: Best. Day. Ever! Link to pics were sent to you from your room parent. Let us know if you did not receive the link. Thank you to all volunteers, especially to the Pineda family for the ah-mazing pizza lunch!

5th Grade Movie Night! Thank you to the Meyer Family for organizing this event! 5th Graders had a blast watching "Back to the Future!"

Yearbook Signing! Yearbooks were distributed to all students who ordered - the kids had so much fun signing, enjoyed yummy snacks and more! *There is a waitlist for extra yearbooks, please email jolene.zarzycki@gmail.com to be added or for more information.

Kickball Game! Score was 7-6... 5th Graders won!

PROMOTION DAY
Starts at 8:30am but we recommend arriving early to park and for seating.
Location will be in the MPR.
**Please note that seating is limited to immediate family (household) due to limited seating and space in the MPR. Masks are also recommended at large gatherings. Thank you!

CHECK-IN: Due to safety precautions, at check-in, you will be asked what is your relationship to the student. Please “PRINT” your name on the sign in list. Enter through the east door of the MPR beginning 8:10-8:15 am. Attendees should line up next to the building.
​
AGENDA
*Please drop off your child at the usual time. They will prepare for promotion with their teachers in their classrooms.
​
8:10am - 8:30am: Check-in
8:30am - 9:30am: Promotion Ceremony
9:30am - 10:30am: Light Reception in Lunch Area/Photo Opportunities
10:30am: Reception Ends, Check-out + Clean-up

HOUSEKEEPING RULES
Out of respect and courtesy for ALL 5th graders and their families, please observe the following:

Each family may save only ONE seat.
-
This may be a standing room only event.
-
Younger children should sit on adult laps when possible.
-
Be aware & courteous of other people’s line of vision when videotaping or taking pictures.
-
Sides and back of room are recommended for tripod use.
-
Lots of photo opportunities will be available after the ceremony!
-
Please ensure that all electronic devices are silent.
